Women Entrepreneur Quest 
In July 2018, Shruti Devasthali, Manager – Equity & Grant Portfolio at Venture Center was selected for a very prestigious programme – Women Entrepreneur Quest (WEQ).
The programme offers networking, mentoring and learning opportunities, and is jointly supported by the Anita Borg Institute India (ABI India), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF).
As a part of the programme, Shruti went on a week-long experiential trip to the Silicon Valley. The visit included a good mix of informative sessions and meetings with entrepreneurs. The highlights of Shruti’s trip include, but not limited to:
- Visit to Indian consulate General – Mr Ashok Venkatesan
- Visit to the Google cloud office and Microsoft office
- Visit to UC Berkeley – sky deck accelerator
- Visit to Stanford University and learn about the Stanford Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
- Meeting with various successful women entrepreneurs
